Way to go Loser Chicks!

Due to computer and body difficulties I havent posted this week-very sorry! Way to go to all that have posted with their success stories, keep up the good work! I have found a new desire and a new motivation! I had to go buy fat pants and that was THE END no more games I am dead on focused now. I have been on program all week and already feel better and not like the glutenous pig I have been feeling like :) My new motivation.......Drum roll please.......I am going to participate in the Run to Breathe 5K in Owasso on May 16th!!!! What a great motivator, and you are all invited to train right along with me. So look at your motivation, is it really a good enough thing to truly motivate you? Do you need to find something to commit to to get your backside in gear? I will be gone most of the weekend at a marriage retreat :) Have a great weekend-stay focused-stay motivated and I will post more next week.

At the end of your day will you say I'm glad I did or I wish I had??

New SpringWidget

Happy Valentine's Day!

And happy goal day! How did everyone do? I didnt meet my goal but I am ok with that. We are starting a NEW plan.
NEW GOAL DATE: March 14th
This is a shorter goal time but I think it will help us with motivation. If you didnt stay motivated last time, its ok you will do it this time. Also, CHANGE is hard for alot of us and we jumped in changing everything-what to eat, how much to eat, what to drink, how much to drink, how to exercise, and when to exercise! This time to help with your motivation, try just changing one or two things then increase as you have gotten comfortable with those changes. Dont deprive yourself, just change your ways. The worst thing to do is to "diet" and deprive yourself of everything good-you won't succeed. Look at this as a lifestyle change. My two areas I am going to focus on is WATER and EXERCISE. I dont get enough of either one and I feel gross because of it. Share your new goals with me! Also, let me know if you have met this one or how close you got. Enjoy your Heart day!!!!

Tomorrow is goal day!

I havent heard much from you guys! Stacey has commented that she has met her goal and then some....You go girl!! How is everyone else doing? I am not being as successful as I would like but I am learning new things about myself and sometimes that is more important than watching the scale change. I have been itching to get active, especially when I am stressed or very emotional. I have realized that this may be why I stuff my face full of chocolate :) When I am in stress mode I usually dont have the time to stop, change clothes and shoes, find a sitter, and go for a walk to burn off that "need" but I do have time to shove food in my mouth, chew quickly, and get that momentary "need" taken care of...does that make sense? I have discovered the problem, now I need to find a better solution. Any thoughts?
Tomorrow is Valentines and goal day-let me know how you have all done with meeting your goal! The next goal will be determined and posted tomorrow...Stay tuned and stay motivated!

Today is the day ladies, the last Tale day until the end of our challenge on the 14th. I know I have gained some, but it was expected. Sorry not many posts this last week, we worked alot to get the house ready for open house.
So how did you all do on your water this last week? I hit atleast 48oz. everyday but one. I definately feel better when I drink it! I will say, I am still struggling with the motivation just like alot of you are. I want to lose but I also want the donut and it vaires during the day as to which one I want more. I know long term I want the weight loss more but I tend to get caught in the moment :)

Has anybody seen my motivation?

It sounds to me like we are all asking ourselves that question!
What will motivate you?
Tell me in the comments section what truly will motivate you, is it money, a new outfit, looking good in a swim suit, etc? Is anyone up for changing things a bit and putting some money into this? I understand alot of us dont really have extra-but I have a thought....What if we each sat a maximum we could put in THEN for every pound we lose is a dollar we dont have to give? SO if I say I will put in $20 and I lose 18# then I only have to give $2. That would motivate me, you all know I am cheap :) Let me know what you think or if you have any other ideas.
What I dont want is for everyone to give up!!!!! We are supposed to be loser chicks remember?

Challenge for the week-I learned again how important water is, I challenge you to get in atleast 48oz. of water each day (not counting your pop, coffee, soda,etc)and see if you feel better by the end of the week.

Super Bowl...of what?

I am heading out to a super bowl party and honestly I dont really even know who is playing! My thought and question is what is in your super bowl? Is it cheese, ice cream, or chips? How about if that was what was in your mini bowl and your super bowl was full of fruits, veggies, or pretzels? It is definately ok to relax, have some fun, and enjoy a snack two. What is important is portion control and what you do starting tomorrow. Don't let the game (or any other event) make you lose sight of your goal. Tackle your weight loss the same way football players play a game. Have a game plan, stay focused on the goal, and give it all you got to keep the other players (food, emotions, etc) away from you so you can make it to the end zone and reach your goal weight! Have fun!
Today is the day to turn in your exercise time from Jan. 1 to Feb. 1

Thought for today: Let nothing keep you from your goal!
